We packed our bags and visited with Grandma and Grandpa this weekend. Megan was a complete angel the entire ride up and was so excited to be traveling. Our main reason for the trip was for Cousin J's baby shower and since her baby came a bit early (3 weeks ago), we got to meet him on Saturday afternoon. Little Dylan is so tiny at only 5lbs! Megan was very concerned that the baby was wearing socks and would be hot because I had explained to her that morning that it was hot out and she did not need the hot pink socks to go with her purple dress. (lol!) Again, she was an angel during the shower and everyone had a comment about how well behaved she was. Of course, when we got to my parent's house that evening, she let all of that bottled energy out and gave her grandparents a run for their money.
Megan and Grandma (she calls her Baba) were BFF's the whole weekend. It was very cute and my Mom was the epitomy of the proud and beaming Grandmother. Megan even threw a little fit when her Daddy tried to take Baba's seat in the car. I don't think he liked that too much (but he got over his temporary demotion). Wednesday was my Mom's birthday and we celebrated today with a little cake. Megs was all over that.
