For The Love of Cookies

Megan is obsessed with cookies. She loves books where the characters bake cookies or even mention cookies, she loves Cookie Monster and searches for him on her diapers almost every changing and she LOVES to eat cookies! Oatmeal, vanilla wafers, teddy grahams, this kid is all about the cookie.

So, I decided to let her help me bake chocolate chip cookies. She helped me pour in the flour and stir in the chips and was thrilled to be doing what Corduroy Bear does in her "Corduroy's Christmas" book. She zonked out before they were done and cooled though. Trust me, she ate a very large cookie and a giant cup of milk after her nap.

The Guardians of the Trash Can

I was in the kitchen making a sandwich and went to throw something out, when low and behold, the Guardians of the Trash Can stopped me dead in my tracks! One was ready to call 911 and the other, well, he was just mean and teased me with a wrapped gift. All the while, their posse danced the Macarena in the background.

WHAT
is my kitchen coming to???

Holiday Video Review

I have had a little Elf BEGGING me to watch Elmo's Christmas Countdown almost every day. It's definitely a fun movie for all ages. There are celebrity appearances, plentiful Christmas music and of course, LOTS of Elmo. The funniest segment stars two actors from the Sopranos portraying Ernie and Bert. Highly amusing.

As the wishbone dries...

...and the leftovers whittle away to that last piece of dark meat no one is quite certain of, we wanted to wish you all a Happy belated Thanksgiving.

Megs, Daddy and I hope your weekend was as fantabulous as ours. Megan kept her grandparents busy, while her parents shopped Black Friday online. We even had a little get together with an old friend (well, as old as the friend of a 2o-month old can be!), pics to come later. But for now, check out Megs new hat I picked up at a local craft show. Adorable, no??

Let the Christmas merriment begin!!
