Gimme Three Steps Baby!

I'm proud to announce that Little Miss Megs is taking baby steps. I had noticed almost a week ago that she would stand and try to move a leg. Well, in a matter of days that evolved into taking steps from the sofa to the chair and from her activity table to her own chair. Last night she kept taking three steps and I wanted to cry. This morning she took about five running steps from her activity table to her chair, and she continuously does it! I'm both nervous and excited. And bummed that I can't call my Mom because she's out of town and out of reach!

Megan is full of cute little gestures this week. She has a little baby doll that makes a cooing or baby sound and she repeats it. She hugs and kisses the baby and says awwww! If you ask her what sound a monkey makes, she starts to pant and make a monkey sound. If she hears the cat meow on her toy, she imitates it. It's all very very cute.

But the best is when I ask her to find her binky because we are going buh-bye. She will find her binky and crawl back to me, sit and clap her hands. Sometimes she'll even say buh-buh-buh-bye! It gets me every time. If she can't find her binky, Megan can be found on her belly looking for it under the couch. Which is where it usually rolls.
