Almost Sitting!

Every day Megan gets a little more steady at sitting up. Most times she stays up for about 5 seconds and then either topples back or all the way forward. Yesterday she stayed up for much longer, about 15-20 seconds. Which means she stayed up long enough for me to take her picture. Hopefully she will be sitting up soon.

In other milestone news...Megan caught on to rolling everywhere once she learned that she can roll over twice in a row. She is also turning herself on her belly so she can roll in different directions. I can see a baby gate in our very near future. The funniest is when she tries to move forward to reach for an object. She actually goes in reverse. This results in a very frustrated baby.

Which makes her scream.

This is another little thing that started last week. She will scream when she is happy, sad or mad. The best is when she screams while in her Jumperoo. She does it while bouncing like a crazy woman. She's slowed down with the screaming a little, but then the raspberries came back They are now big wet raspberries. Spit everywhere. The best is when she takes a spoonful of her oatmeal or sweet potatoes and decides to express her joy at eating with a big, spraying raspberry. Thanks Sweetie!

And then there's the toes. In the past few days she has discovered that she can actually lick her toes. She's not quite sucking them, but it's probably just a matter of time before she discovers them in lieu of her pacifier.
