This morning Megan said MAMA. Actually, she said mamamamamamama. But she was saying it directly to me. It was more of a statement. Daddy heard it too and laughed. I think she told me off. This has been and interesting couple of days. Yesterday, Megan started making this noise which I can only classify as a wheeze. She breathes in air through her mouth as if to gasp and adds sound. It scared me at first, but when she followed each sound with a smile, I knew she was just practicing her new found sound. Add that to the raspberries and the mama's and she's a one-baby show!
I can tell that every day is going to be an adventure from now on. I guess there's more to turning 5 months old than just a celebration of a date!

Congratulations to Megan on starting to tackle those all important speech and language milestones!! You better get ready for when she learns NO! and WHY????
