Ole!

A Maraca Dance brought to you by Megan. Today we were all home sick. We all have colds and had to find a way to entertain ourselves. Fortunately, Miss Megan was not too sick to bring you this little dance. Music by Mommy. Sorry if I'm off tune!

We don't call her Coco Chanel for nothing!

The Children's Garden

We trekked out to the Children's Garden today for an afternoon of fun. The garden has tons of cute displays including dinosaurs, giant bugs, fairy gardens and giant teacups as well as fun rides. Megan especially loved the carousel and wanted to ride the cat, the pig and the biggest horse there.

She made a watercolor painting and colored another craft and at the end they gave her a grape lollipop. She ate this in the car on her way home, but was actually falling asleep as she licked it...that was pretty hilarious!

She kept roaring at this guy.

She's screaming "Boom! Boom! Boom!" here.

Hey, is there any water in there??

Ride'em Bugsy!!

Fun tunnels. We had a hard time keeping up with her here. She kept running through the tunnels then off to another one by the time we could make it around. lol!

4th of July Pool Party

My good friend AnnMarie was gracious enough to invite us to her 1st Annual Pool Party/BBQ in her beautiful new pool. Megan had a wonderful time playing with the other kids, chasing the dogs and swimming in the pool. I did not get a lot of pics because I was chasing her and just having a good time. :)

The day ended with various displays of fireworks throught the neighborhood. One of which was provided by our host, Mr. Dave. Megan was in awe of them and when there was a break in between, she asked for "more pireworks, Boom!"

The beautiful setting.

Chasing Phelps the puppy.

Contemplating the pool.

Baby steps...Megan has never really been in a pool and took little steps into the cold water. But after a little while, she was willingly going down to the 3rd step (her waist level) and throwing toys to the big kids in the water. I think with a little more practice, she'll be a little fish.

Enjoying chocolate cake before the fireworks.

Boom!! Happy 4th of July!

I Love A Parade!

We attended a popular local parade that is steeped very rich in tradition. Town residents put out their chairs along the parade route up to a week before and set up tents in their yards so their families can have breakfast or lunch before and after the parade. They've been doing this for years dating back to the 60's. So much fun. We didn't know anyone with a tent, but at least the 7-11 provided us with coffee as we waited for the parade to march our way.

Excited for the parade to begin.

Practicing flag waving.

This was my fave "float". Check out the dog in the back seat. He has on a hat and he looked so bored. Poor doggie!

Megs enjoyed the clowns.

Happy Birthday America!

A Day At The Zoo

We kicked off our July 4th weekend with a trip to the Philly Zoo. Megs had the best time. She was so excited to see all of the animals and absolutely loved the play area for Zoo Members.

OK, let's get this Zoo thing started!

Big turtle!

Weetle Tutul

Mom's fave, the girapf.

We were lucky to see the elephants. After this weekend
they are being transferred to Pittsburgh to mate.

Yes, she was hatched as I've suspected for some time.

I see you! Thanks for looking!!
