The Little Red Wagon

Megan loves to ride around in her red Radio Flyer Wagon. She loves to see all the Fall and Halloween decor and points out "punkeys" every chance she gets. She also points out the moon, airlplanes, rocks and loves when dogs and cats are in people's front yards. She giggles when the rabbits run away and when she hears a little kid crying or carrying on, she is very empathetic and says, "waa waaa waaa, mama!!" I assure her that's it's ok, the "baby" is fine, and we go on our merry way to see what other sights are in store for us.

Wordless Wednesday: What a Peach!

Apple Picking

We went apple picking yesterday and Megan had a blast. She grasped the concept very quickly, as did her little friends. That poor apple tree didn't have a chance! One funny little tidbit...Megan was so overzealous in picking apples, she pulled on one a little too hard and it bonked her on the head. She cried all the way to the apple box, threw it in, turned around and pointed at the apple tree and asked for "More!" I had to laugh because even through tears, she was not going to let that apple tree get the best of her!

Off to the orchard!!

Oooh, there's plenty for all of us!

I got this one!!

Whoa, we picked a lot!

Time to share a snack with my friends.

18 Months Old!

Time has just flown by! Last fall we carried her everywhere, now I have to chase her down to get a decent picture.

Note: The 18 month version of What I Love About My 18-Month Old coming shortly. I have to pare it down. There are just too many!

Little Mommy

Megan loves to play with her Babies. She feeds them bottles and from spoons and takes them for rides daily in the "beep beep" aka. doll stroller. And if any of them dare to get out of the stroller...well, let's just say Little Mommy has her own method of "time out".

Baby and the Beach

We took a little family vacation to LBI last week. Megan's first real time on the beach. I know, it's embarassing that we waited all summer to go. We just never found the time to go to the beach. Megan was a little freaked out when she first stood on the sand and forget touching the water. She ran to us everytime it touched her feet. But a few hours later, she was shoveling sand into the bucket and collecting shells. By the end of the week, she was running to the water's edge and filling up her bucket. She also didn't mind getting her legs buried in the sand by Daddy and eating goldfish with a little sandy coating. All in all, our beach trip was a success.

Megan also became an expert restaurant eater. Sure, there was a mess on the floor when we left, but we made it through 7 dinners and a few breakfasts out without any major meltdowns.

Off to the beach!

Oooh, it's cold!!

Ready for dinner out.

Fashion plate...

Happy baby out at dinner.

My future's so bright....
