Puffapalooza!!

Status Update

Meg went to the pediatrician's this morning to get her flu shot booster. They weighed her. She is now 19 lbs. 3 oz. She is 1 lb more than last month. She cried for a second with the booster. Then I picked her up and she was fine. Maybe next time there won't be any tears....

Here is Megan dressed and ready to go to the doctor. She can't sit still for more than 10 seconds these days. The lamp on the side table must have been calling her, because she just HAD to get up there to see it.

Secret Santa!!

I know, I know...Santa already??? Well, why the heck not?? My Mom's group did a Secret Santa exchange and it's been so much fun. Today we received our Secret Santa gift. It's from an adorable little boy and his wonderful mom. Thank you Kate and Mason! Here is Megan practicing for Christmas morning.

These photos were after the actual first standing up. The crib had not been lowered yet and I had just sat her down in her crib so I could do some stuff in her room. She decided that sitting just wasn't on her agenda. She just hung on to the front rail and stood up like she had been doing it for weeks. Which makes me a little suspicious...

She is VERY proud of herself for being able to stand by herself.

Catching Up

So I have not updated in awhile. I just stopped bouncing from my Halloween Candy sugar high. (ha ha). Here is Megan on Halloween Trick or Treating with the neighbor.
In news this week, Miss Megan has learned to sit up from a crawling position. This is huge. No longer do I have to reposition her when she falls over from a sitting position. Now she just gets up on all fours, turns over and sits. Very impressive. And the crawling is at full throttle now. On all fours too! A video is forthcoming. Of course, the crawling has gotten much better. No more army crawl. She is now crawling everywhere and FAST. So I have a shadow, it follows me wherever I go...

My friend made Megan a tutu. Paired with the fairy wings and wand I had already purchased months ago, she is the cutest fairy princess I've ever seen. (ok, so I'm a bit biased). But then you can judge for yourself!
Fairy cute? No? Leave me a message if you want more info on the tutu's. They really are adorable. I guess that's it for now. This weekend, Santa Claus is coming to town, so we may have updates next week with Santa pics. Woohoo!!
